Rajaram
Rajaram comes from a humble rural background from Badausa village. He wanted to study further, however the powerful of the village will never allow the marginalized people to gain more education, they fear that, who will do their menial work. When Rajaram was not allowed to study further, this created a stir in him. He resolved, he will work, so that the marginalized people can have access to better education. He formed a youth group and started a school in Badousa in 1988. The engagement further increased in Badousa. Rajaram with the young women and men took out cycle rallies to aware people of the importance of education in life. These efforts got further shaped up and they collectively formed the organization ‘Prabhat Samiti’ in 1990. After the birth of Prabhat Samiti, Rajaram took forward the work on education and opened schools in 15 villages with the slogan “Ghanti Bajao, Gaon Jagao”..
Shubhendra Prakash
Shubhendra Prakash is the president of Prabhat Samiti. He is also one among the founder member of Prabhat Samiti. He started with a humble beginning in the form of working for the fellow community people. Associated with Prahat Samiti he works on the issue of education of marginalized children in the community. He is associated with the organization from 2000 as the board member.
Lallu Ram
Lallu Ram is the Vice-President of Prabhat Samiti. He hails from a farmer family of Banda and working for the rights of marginalized section in his society. He is associated with the organization from 1990 as the board member.
Mewalal
Mewalal is the treasurer of Prabhat Samiti. He comes from a farming family. Mewalal worked with the forest department for a brief period. He is associated with the organization from 2016 as the board member.
Krishna Devi
Krishna Devi comes from a humble background. Being a differently-abled, she studied till class 8. She associated with Prabhat Samiti on the issue of women empowerment and started taking classes of children in Banda. She is associated with the organization from 2000 as the board member.
Vijay Bahadur
Shubhendra Prakash is the president of Prabhat Samiti. He is also one among the founder member of Prabhat Samiti. He started with a humble beginning in the form of working for the fellow community people. Associated with Prahat Samiti he works on the issue of education of marginalized children in the community. He is associated with the organization from 2000 as the board member.
Natthulal
Natthulal is one of the founding members of Prabhat Samiti. He is a postgraduate. He is associated with Prabhat Samiti since 1990. He supports the organization in its development work and provides guidance to the team.
Anusuiya
Anusuiya is a resident of Chitrakoot district, Bundelkhand. She works on the issue of women empowerment. She is associated with the organization since 2016.
Ashok Kumar
Ashok is one of the core members of Prabhat Samiti. He is a social worker and support community in its capacity development on different development issues. He is associated with Prabhat Sami since 2005.
Archana Devi
Archana Devi is a social worker in Banda. She is associated with Prabhat Samiti for a long time. She works on the issue of women empowerment and leadership.
Shubhadra Devi
Shubhadra Devi is a woman farmer from Banda. She is associated with Prabhat Samiti since its inception. Associated with Prabhat Samiti she also works on the social issues including education, health and specially eradicating women’s exploitation.
